DBP's congress begins : To free future with englightened society

ANKARA - DBP’s fourth ordinary congress began with “ To free future with enlightened society” slogan in Ankara.

Fourth ordinary congress of DBP (Democratic Regions Party) began in Ankara. It was reported a large number of delegates and citizen included HDP ( Peoples’ Democratic Party) co-chair Serpil Kemalbay, DTK (Democratic Society Congress) co-chair Leyla Güven, HDP’s lawmakers and unions representatives attended the congress.

It was reported that pictures of Mehmet Tunç, Pakize Nayır and Seve Demir who were killed in Cizre during curfew, three Kurdish women politician Sakine Cansız, Fidan Doğan and Leyla Şaylemez who were murdered in Paris on 2013 and PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) leader Abdullah Öcalan were hanged.

Co-chair of DBP Sebahat Tuncel, 72 mayors of the party and over four thousand members and executives are jailed.
